The Best Medecine: Prayer

Your prayers for the medical staff of IMCK, the students, the hydro and maintenance teams, and the patients being treated are the greatest power of all.  Although the Democratic Republic of Congo is half a world away, our prayers do carry that far and God does not require long distance charges!

Please keep IMCK in your prayers and encourage your friends, congregations, organizations to hold up IMCK in their prayers, too. 

There are always specific needs that need the power of your prayers.  Currently, these include:

• Those affected by the rise in coronavirus (Covid-19) cases and the IMCK staff providing care for them.
• Indigent patients who do not have the means to pay for hospital expenses or transport to the hospital or clinics.
• Maintaining the hydro installation as lake vegetation threatens the operation of this critical facility.

Dear God,
We ask for your blessings on the work of IMCK and pray for your encouragement of the staff and patients living in this land where poverty and violence affect the lives of the good Congolese people.

Tatu wetu,

Udi mu diulu Tunemeke dina diebe. Bukelenge buebe bulue. Tuenze pa buloba bu muwudi musue, Bu mudibo bakuenzela mu diulu. Utupe tshitupa tshia bidia bietu, bia buatshia—buatshia lelu. Utujimijile mibi yetu, bu mutuakumana kujimijila bakuabo mibi yabo. Kutufikishi padi mateyi, kadi Utusungile kudi bubi.
