PROCEEDS FROM THE SALE OF THIS MUSIC CD GO TO THE NUTRITION CENTERS AT TSHIKAJI / IMCK

CD Cover

"Feed HIS Sheep," a collection of eight original songs, is a debut effort of Grier G.B. White. While writing and later recording the songs - engineered by musical friend, producer Martin LeMaire, G.B. recalled his missions work experience of 2005 in the Democratic Republic of Congo (DRC). Pictures taken in the area of Kananga of orphans, a homeless man, and families at nutrition centers were engrained in his brain. As White and LeMaire started recording these songs, it became evident how money from sales was to be used. All proceeds would be used to support nutrition centers in Kananga!

Musical influences from the secular world can be heard that include Steely Dan, Third World, Hall and Oates, Bob Marley, and Little Feat. "Feed HIS Sheep" features the musicianship of - among others - Ed Shockley (vinyl Shockley, The Reminders), Keith Mack (Scandal, Keith Mack), and Philly-area indie artist Cliff Hillis. Grier G.B. White considers himself blessed by so many close musician friends from the state  of Delaware and by the high quality production from the hands and ears of "Marty" (Attune Studio)!
